The International
Consortium for Sugarcane Biotechnology (ICSB) was established
on July 1, 1991 with the expressed purpose to develop "free
exchange of information and technology" related to the
molecular genetics of sugarcane". The organization has come a
long way and this website is a result of some of the progress
we have made. The purpose for the site is to provide a central
area for communication and dissemination of the information
developed by the consortium members.
